      How does Bottom work as the lens of the hypocrite Elizabethan society in the play A Midsummer Night’s Dream?   1.       In the play A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the character Nick Bottom is filled with all the virtues of energy and enthusiasm believing him to be a fine actor.
