  Question: The graph shows the consumption of three spreads from 1981 to 2007. Summarise the information selecting and reporting main features and make comparisons where relevant. Model Answer:  The line graph illustrates the quantity of the consumption of three different food items, such as margarine, low fat and reduced spreads and butter, in different years from 1981 to 2007. Overall, it is clear that the consumption of margarine was fluctuated over the years. Though the tendency of consuming butter was upward in 1981, there was a gradual fall in the later years. There was a sharp rise in consuming low fat and reduced spreads in 1996, but the amount also fell off in 2007.  People ate more than 80 grams margarine in 1981. The taste for consuming this spread fell slightly and reached 80 grams in 1986. However, the amount of consumption increased in the following years and became 100 grams in 1991.
