IELTS Writing Task 01 ( pie charts in combination of bar chart)
The percentages of persons arrested in the five years ending 1994 and the most recent reasons for arrest.
Model Answer:
The given pie charts demonstrate the percentages of arrested male and female criminals and the bar chart shows the reasons for most frequent arrest from 1990 to 1994.
Overall, it is clear that more male malefactors were arrested than females. The evildoers of both genders were mostly arrested for drinking in public and for driving being drunkard.
In the given five-year timeframe, only 9% female evildoers were arrested whereas the police detained 32% male wrongdoers. 91% female criminals were successful in outwitting the law.
Public drinking was the most predominant cause for being commonly arrested. More than 35% women were thrown behind the bars on a regular basis for drinking in the public places. In case of men, the percentage is around 30%. The second crucial reason for most recent arrest is driving after drinking. Nearly one out of four men showed this tendency. But this tendency is quite negligible among women since the percentage is 15%. Male rule-violators are more responsible for infringement of order, theft, and other reasons. On the other hand, women had been imprisoned for assault and no reason.
